DISCIPLE I - BECOMING DISCIPLES THROUGH BIBLE STUDY
uses biblical language and images and draws upon the work of scholars to aid understanding of the Bible. During the course of 34 weeks, we will read 80% of the Bible and come together for group discussion that aims for transformation, not just information. DISCIPLE is for those who are new to Bible Study, are life long learners, and everything in between.  If you are a Disciple graduate, consider taking it again to discover what “new” things God is doing in you.

Led by Pastor Bill, the class will meet for 8 weeks.  Books will be in the office                   Please come to the first class having read the Introduction and Chapter One. Reading before class is important for discussion.

BAPTIZED IMAGINATION
Books that make us think, and are read with the “lens of faith” of how and where God is present in the world and peoples’ lives are also books that we want to talk about with others. Pastor Matt will guide our discussion. You are welcome to read and discuss any or all of the books.   Please email Pastor Matt  (matthew@genevaumc.org)  or call the church office if you are planning on attending the first meeting on September 29 or September 30.
