Recognized as Haiti’s leading medical facility dedicated to the treatment of children with tuberculosis (TB) Grace Children’s Hospital has staff comprised of all Haitian nationals. The hospital recently inaugurated HIV/AIDS treatment services to protect against the double threat of TB and HIV, two of the most urgent public health problems facing Haiti today. Each year Grace Children’s Hospital receives thousands of children who are suffering from tuberculosis and other childhood diseases. Those children with the most severe cases are admitted to the sixty-bed inpatient ward where they receive around-the-clock care.
